Our Prayer LifePrayer is also an important part of the life of any church. Week by week our worship includes prayers of Praise of God, Confession, Thanksgiving and Prayers for Others and The World. Other aspects of our churches' prayer life are detailed below. Prayer Circle As well as praying together during worship, our church prays as a community each evening, via the Prayer Circle. Whenever a prayer request is received by our church, the first person on our prayer circle list is contacted and given the necessary details. This person then contacts the next person on the list and so on, until the entire circle has been contacted. That evening all the prayer circle pray as one, just not met together.
Prayer PointTo help us in our prayers for others, we regularly post PrayerPoint postcards to households in Heald Green, which can then be completed and posted at the special PrayerPoint post-box at the end of the driveway to the church. Since we launched the scheme, all the churches in Heald Green have joined us, so prayers can now be posted at any church and caféunity in the centre of the village. If you wish to make a prayer request, but don't have a PrayerPoint card, any piece of paper will do. You can give as much or as little detail as you like, maybe just writing a name. All requests will be acted upon and treated with respect and confidentially. You don't have to give your name and no-one will call upon you by phone or in person. Alternatively, you can now send your prayer requests online by using this link, PrayerPoint Heald Green United Reformed
