Minister and Elders

Minister

Mike, our Minister
Mike has been with us since autumn 2003, after completing four year's ministerial training at Luther King House in Manchester and six months at Tamil Nadu Theological Seminary in South India.

Alongside local church ministry, Mike is the North Western Synod Coordinator for the Global Partners Programme, with his wife, Rev'd Kate Gray, which involves organising exchange visits to the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan.

Mike is also the Evangelism and Emerging Church Advocate for the South Manchester Area of the United Reformed Church. To learn more about this area of Mike's work, visit his Blog, The Unlikely Evangelist

To read Mike's monthly Church Newsletter or other extended articles by our Minister, then click the link to our Minister's Church Blog.

And if you want to contact us regarding Weddings, Blessings, Baptisms (sometimes called Christenings) or any matter relating to the work of our church, then please e-mail the Minister, who will be happy to help you.

Elders

In the United Reformed Church there is a team ministry at the heart of every local congregation called the Elders. The Elders are elected representatives who work with the Minister, who are responsible for the life of their local church. Their particular areas of responsibility include worship, mission and outreach and pastoral oversight of the congregation.
