VULTURE FUNDS Sounds sinister. They seem to be very sinister! These are investment funds which buy up defaulted poor country debt and sue for full immediate repayment. Last November, Liberia was taken to court in the UK (why the UK? - an interesting question) and judgement for $20 million was found against them. FAIR TRADE We are VERY keen on Fair Trade. That way the middle people do not dominate the market, and the primary producers are given a fair price for their products.
